Recruiting our New youth board
Young people under 30 make up almost 40% of our population, but, more often than not, they are less than 0.01% of members on decision-making boards across the country.
The Youth Advisory Board is Social Ark’s dedicated group of young people who support us in delivering our aims, ensuring we are remain youth-led and youth-informed at every level.
Calling all 16-30 year olds
Are you passionate about social impact and driving change in your community?
Do you want to develop unique leadership skills in governance and decision making?
Are you able to commit to 4 board meetings per year and occasional team building events?
Do you have the energy, passion and enthusiasm?
Responsibilities include:
Attend quarterly board meetings.
Hold us accountable for what we do, Help us co-design programmes, and provide valuable feedback and insights.
Represent Social Ark at events by being a youth ambassador board member.
